lighthouse on Cheticamp Island is beautiful. There is also a nice beach
on the island.
Trail rides or lessons at Fox Rock Adventures is fun for
both experienced or beginner riders.
Golfers will be happy to know that there are very good
courses in the area.
20 minutes away, in the town of Cheticamp, is Le Portage Golf Club.
Designed by Robert Moote (the same architect as the famous Dundee Resort)
and his son David, it is a beautiful course nestled in at the base of the
Highlands National Park.
Bell Bay Golf
Club in Baddeck is 25 minutes away and was voted the 'Best new golf
course in 1998' by Golf Digest.
45 minutes away on the Bras D'Or Lakes is The Dundee Resort
- a very challenging golf course.
